Old textiles

Used textiles include all clothing and shoes, regardless of their condition. They are placed in the container in sacks or bags. Shoes are placed in pairs. Our containers are orange or gray-aluminum with orange stripes. They are easily recognizable by their logo.

Please be considerate of your neighbors and adhere to the drop-off times:
Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. No drop-off on Sundays or public holidays!

Is this container defective or overfilled? Defects can be reported and quickly rectified using the City of Bonn's defect reporting system. You can find the nearest location on our city map.

Used textiles include:

  • Worn, washed clothing, regardless of condition, packed in sacks or bags
  • Shoes, regardless of condition, bundled in pairs

The following items are not considered used textiles:

  • lothing or shoes with built-in electronic components (LED lighting, heating elements). These must be disposed of as small electrical appliances.
